Abstract:This paper takes the professional course of Energy Storage Technology and Applications as an example, exploring the deep integration of the course with ideological and political education. It highlights the issue of traditional teaching emphasizing skills over values, stressing that such integration can cultivate essential values like energy security awareness and green development concepts, which are crucial for fostering well-rounded talent in the energy storage field. The study analyzes the knowledge system of energy storage technology, covering physical, electrochemical and electromagnetic storage types and their current status, while identifying teaching challenges such as rapid technological iteration and abstract formulas. It further excavates ideological and political elements embedded in each knowledge module. A systematic integration model is constructed, encompassing target, content, method, and evaluation layers, proposing pathways like bidirectional reconstruction of teaching objectives, case-driven content design, diversified teaching strategies, and a three-dimensional assessment mechanism. To address practical difficulties such as forced embedding of ideological elements and teachers’ limited interdisciplinary capabilities, strategies like faculty training, resource development, and industry-education collaboration are proposed. The research achieves a tripartite synergy of knowledge imparting, skill development, and value shaping, with future plans to expand discussions on ethical issues in cutting-edge technologies and global energy governance modules, thereby providing support for related talent cultivation.
