Abstract  Submarine high voltage cable is an important component of the wind farm for power transmission. So the safe operation of the high-voltage undersea cable on the power system is critical. According to the distributed optical fiber sensor monitoring methods, finite element software ANSYS was used to establish XLPE high-pressure submarine cable model. The simulation analysis the change of the internal physical quantities, by simulating different submarine cable fault forms. This simulation provided the reference for online monitoring running state by distributed optical fiber sensor. Finally, for the utilization of these feature quantities and improving the fault location precision, a information fusion model were put forward according to the simulation results.
