													    | Abstract  This paper introduces a new cascaded multilevel converter topology and made a in-depth study of its PWM modulation algorithm. This multilevel converter topology has many steps with fewer power electronic switches. The proposed topology consists of series-connected sub- multilevel converters blocks. The structure can reduce the switching device and its power loss, reduce the size of the inverter circuit and improve the efficiency of the inverter and has a relatively simple control system. Finally a simulation study of the PWM modulation for the topological structure had been made ,the simulation results verify the correctness and superiority of the topology. |
