Abstract：This paper introduced in the original soft starter to start combustion supporting fan on the basis of automation, new ABB Inverter on the basis of the original, and the two through the terminal and DP network communication control. WINCC picture communicate with PLC through Ethernet, PLC through PROFIBUS-DP control ABB Inverter start stop and speed control, local through the terminal control inverter start stop and the lifting speed retained original fan room operation box using soft starter to start the fan. The transformation method is successfully applied to the Xiangtan Steel Corp of large volume production line combustion fan control system, good operation effect.
