Abstract：This paper gives further study on the fast calculation of overhead line impedance, based on the lack of measured parameters in most power supply company and the complexity of theoretical calculations, in order to provide basic parameters timely for equipment checking and related computing work. It gives the main design of theoretical calculation tool. The simplify calculation module can meet the requirement of short-circuit current checking of primary equipment in design phase, and the accurate calculation module can meet the setting calculation requirement in different situations, such as newly built, transformation and T-connection of overhead line. Moreover, it provides overall management for the overhead line, such as the functions of information query、deriving and updating. The example proved that the research of this paper has important practical engineering value.
