Abstract:The aim of this article is to propose a method to test the disc spring characteristics of the high voltage circuit breaker. The test system takes PIC16F877A as the main controller. The guyed analog displacement sensor is used to measure the compression of the disc spring and the pressure transmitter is used to measure the hydraulic of the system. Human-computer interaction can be achieved by the combination of printer, LCD, buttons and other input and output devices. The conditioning circuit is reasonably designed and the digital filtering is applied on the software design. The combination of software and hardware reduces the random measurement error and improves the accuracy and stability of the test system. The test system calibration results shows that the system works stably, and the test results are accurate. Therefore, the system meets the requirement of field tests.
