Application of CAN Interfaced Devices in Microprocessor-based Protection |

Abstract Microgrid consist of renewable sources ,the protection scheme is different from traditional Grid, an intelligent system which can track the dynamic data of microsources and the state of relays. Because of the traditional microprocessor-based protection measure and control equipment’s low communication speed and high data fault rate,we designed a microprocessor-based protection measure and control equipment using the CAN fieldbus combing the eCAN controller’s advantages,we established a microgrid microprocessor-based protection measure and control system taking TMS320F2812’s inner eCAN block as center,and also introduced this system’s hardware and software’s designing scheme. We programmed CAN communication send and receive program, through communication experiment, we verified this system’s real-time,reliability and accuracy.
