Abstract This paper will discusse the application and development potential of photovoltaic power generation in the residence, and will come up with the unique way for the optimization design of the photovoltaic building system and the evaluation of the on-site power generation. On the basis of a good structure’s overall design, the model selection of the solar energy photovoltaic component,and series-parallel design of photovoltaic array, and the configuration on the roof of photovoltaic array will be carryied on the detailed design and illustration. In addition, the junction box will be switched in terminal of the DC side to optimize the whole design scheme. Through the practical case, the use of technical regulations in Photovoltaic (pv) architecture, the integration of the micro grid technology, economic and technological assessment all will be expounded.
