Optimum design of earthing system for substation joined with civil building |

Abstract Concerned of the small occupied area of substation joined with civil building, ordinary earthing network design method is hard to satisfy the needs of safety and economy for earthing system. Unequal spacing earthing network combined with oblique-long electrode is applied. Earthing resistance, touch potential and step potential are all qualified after calculating by CDEGS. Special problems such as fault current division factor and safety outside substation are also considered in this paper.
