Abstract Voltage transformer is an important substation equipment, which is used to measure line voltage, power and electric energy, so as to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid. This paper introduces a fault of 330kV line voltage transformer damage leading to abnormal line voltage, and puts forward corresponding preventive measures according to the fault causes, which provides reference for avoiding similar abnormal voltage fault in other substations to improve the safety and reliability of power grid operation.
