Abstract:With increasing renewable energy integration and load density, the demand for large- capacity distribution transformers in power grids continues to grow. As transformer capacity increases, losses in structural components become more significant. To reduce losses in large-capacity amorphous alloy three-dimensional wound core transformers, this study employs simulation-based analysis of transformer losses to investigate the magnitude and distribution of structural component losses. Optimization measures for loss reduction are proposed. The research demonstrates that structural component losses are directly related to the low-voltage terminal wiring method, the arrangement of low-voltage leads, and the distance between low-voltage leads and the cover.
