Abstract:As the number of urban rail transit operation cities increases, with the new operating mileage increased rapidly and the network scale continuous to expand, the pressure and challenge of the safe operation of urban rail transit are also increasing day by day. Urban rail transit should have higher specification requirements for power cables used in power supply system, especially for the level of combustion performance with regard to fire safety. However, there is no specific specification for the level of combustion performance of the power cables used in urban rail transit at present. This paper is based on the existing norms and regulations, combined with the investigation of domestic urban rail transit and mainstream power cable suppliers, discusses the design and selection of combustion performance level of the power cables in urban rail transit power supply system.
