Abstract：Tower side equipment such as automatic wiring device for ground wire deicing and remote control cabinet for ground wire deicing can improve the efficiency and safety of ground wire deicing of transmission lines. However, due to the harsh work environment, failures sometimes occur. In order to solve this problem, this paper establishes an on-line monitoring system for tower side equipment. This system adds an industrial computer and a communication management machine to the original main control module to realize the self-inspection of equipment status, and can display the self-inspection results in real time in the local industrial computer, the remote operation and maintenance server and the mobile individual combat platform. This system can realize the alarm function and provide professional repair scheme for the inspection personnel according to the fault characteristics, thus supporting the rapid repair of the equipment at the side of the ground wire ice melting tower and ensuring the smooth implementation of the ground wire ice melting work.
