Abstract:The feed water pump which we used before was designedthat, high andmedium pressure pump one-piece, horizontal layout, constant speed operation and setting the middle tap. The pressure regulation of water supply system was entirely depended on the Regulating valve decompression when the power unit was peak load operating. This kind of control mode caused big throttle lose and potential safety hazard. After doing a lot of investigation and researchthe technical renovation on the feed water system is done. The specific plan is that adding a separatemedium pressure feed water pump and the operation mode changed to frequency conversion operation. There are some problems in practical operation after the renovation. A lot of valuable experience is accumulated in the process of problem solving which can be provided for similar projects.
